Very good condition US Model 1903 Mark I Springfield Rifle in .30-06 caliber that has the ejection port in the receiver side rail and was designed for use with the Pedersen semi auto conversion device. Rifle is NOT import marked and has correct Mark I trigger, cutoff, cutoff pin, and stock. Barrel is marked “SA” for Springfield Armory and dated “8-19” for August 1919. Bolt is marked “2” with a punch dot. Metal finish is nice original parkerized. Bore is good, a little gray with good rifling that shows some normal wear. Stock has original finish and shows some normal wear and handling marks. Left side of wrist has a faint “AFW” inspector cartouche. Underside of wrist is marked “P in circle”. A good example of an uncommon Model 1903 Mark I Springfield Rifle.
