Excellent condition WWII US military M1 Carbine that was manufactured by Saginaw, as marked on the receiver. Carbine is NOT import marked. Late “JM” marked bayonet lug band and “I.R.Co.” marked adjustable rear sight. Otherwise all Saginaw parts. Metal finish is excellent original gray parkerized. Bore is bright and excellent with strong rifling. Stock has original finish and shows some normal handling marked. Left side of oiler cutout is stamped “RSG”. Right side buttstock is marked “S.G.” with an ordnance wheel. Underside of wrist has a “circle P” cartouche. A really nice Saginaw M1 Carbine that will make a fine addition to a collection.
