Good condition original antique Civil War Smith & Wesson Model No. 2 Revolver in .32 rimfire caliber. Mechanically functions fine and tight. Gun comes with original factory letter confirming its configuration and stating it was shipped on July 24, 1862 to J.W. Storrs of New York City. Metal is mostly worn to the white, with some gray and brown patina. 6” barrel has a good bright bore with strong rifling and some pitting. Rosewood grips show some normal handling marks and may have been revarnished. A nice lettered Smith & Wesson Model 2 that will make a fine addition to a collection.
