Very good condition antique Russian Model 1870 Berdan II bolt action single shot rifle in 10.75 x 58r caliber that has Sestroryetsk Arsenal markings on the barrel and dated 1885. Rifle is NOT import marked and has all matching serial numbers. Note that the bolt body and cocking piece were renumbered. Metal finish is original blue showing some normal wear. Bore is bright and excellent with strong rifling. Stock has original finish and shows some normal handling marks. Right side buttstock has an 1885 dated roundel cartouche. Left side buttstock has a faint roundel cartouche. Complete with correct original cleaning rod. A better than average example of a hard to find Russian Berdan Rifle.
