Very good condition original WWI-WWII British Pattern 1822 artillery sword that has Wilkinson manufacturer markings on the left ricasso. 34 ½”. blade has original bright finish with a little graying and pitting. Beautiful etched panels on both sides. Left side has the Royal Artillery insignia and right side has “G.W.B.” initials. Hilt has original bright plated finish. Sharkskin covered grip has tight wire wrap and some normal wear. No scabbard. A classic British sword that will make a great addition to a collection.
