Good condition original antique Crimean War Imperial Russian Model 1845 percussion musket in .70 caliber. Lock has Tula Arsenal markings and dated 1850. Barrel has the Tula “hammer” marking and dated 1850. Various parts have Tula Arsenal and 1850 date markings. Mechanically functions fine and tight and has a new manufactured nipple. Metal is mixed in the white, with gray and brown patina. Barrel breech has some pitting. 42 ¾” barrel has a dark pitted smooth bore. Stock has been refinished and shows some handling marks and worm damage. Complete with ramrod. A rare Russian musket that will make a fine addition to a collection.
