Very good condition WWII Russian SVT 40 Tokarev semi auto rifle in 7.62 x 54r caliber that has the Tula Arsenal “star” marking on the receiver and dated 1941. Rifle is import marked on the right side of the receiver and has all matching serial numbers except the magazine. Metal finish is Russian arsenal reblue, in excellent condition. Bore is good, a little dark, with good rifling that shows some normal wear. Stock was Russian arsenal refinished and shows some normal handling marks. Left side buttstock has a sharp clear matching serial number. Right side buttstock has a faint Tula Arsenal “star” cartouche. Complete with correct original cleaning rod. A nice SVT 40 that will make an excellent addition to a collection!
