Very good condition WWII German 98k Mauser Rifle in 8mm Mauser (7.92 x 57) caliber. Rifle has been contemporarily restored to claw mount sniper configuration. Receiver has 1944 date. Code is illegible but is probably “dot” for BRNO. Rifle is NOT import marked. Bolt parts and receiver were renumbered to match each other. Rifle is fitted with double set triggers and an original WWII period Hensoldt Wetzlar Dialytan 4x scope that has original blue finish and very good optics with original T post reticle. The claw mounts were postwar added to the rifle. Rifle has nice arsenal reblued finish. Bore is bright and excellent with strong rifling. Stock was Yugoslavian arsenal refinished and is nonmatching numbered. Complete with correct original cleaning rod. A nice restored 98k Mauser sniper style rifle that will make a great addition to a collection or display, a fun shooter, or work well for a reenactor!
