Very good condition antique Italian Model 1844/71 Carcano “needle gun” carbine. Mechanically functions fine and has intact “needle”. Metal finish is original bright with some scattered gray and brown patina. Bore is bright and excellent with strong rifling. Stock has original finish and shows some normal handling marks. Right side buttstock has an oval cartouche. Complete with correct original ramrod. A nice example of a rare Italian Carcano needle gun!
