Excellent condition original WWII Russian Model 1927 Shashka cavalry sword that is dated 1945 on the left ricasso. 32” blade has nice original bright finish with a little dried grease. Still has original leather washer at the base. Brass hilt fittings have attractive patina. Right side of guard has Russian proof marks. Pommel has a star marking. Wood grip has original finish and a good tight fit, no damage. Fitted in correct original leather covered wooden scabbard that has brass fittings. Scabbard is also in excellent condition, with no damage. A very nice WWII Russian M1927 Shashka that will make an excellent addition to a collection!
