Very good condition antique Dutch Model 1820 flintlock cavalry pistol in .69 caliber. Has the model designation on the barrel tang and dated 1821 on the barrel and grip strap. Metal finish is original “in the white” with some gray and brown patina. Brass fittings have attractive patina. 8 ¼” barrel has a dark gray smooth bore with some pitting. Stock has original finish and shows some normal handling marks. Left side of stock has a small crack by the breech. Complete with correct original captive ramrod. A rare Dutch military flintlock pistol that will make a fine addition to a collection.
