Very good condition custom built M1 Garand “Tanker Carbine” rifle in .30-06 caliber. Built using a Springfield Armory receiver that is serial number 5965xxx, which dates it to manufacture in 1955-56. Has an unmarked 18 ¼” barrel and Springfield op rod, trigger housing, and bolt. Metal finish is nice gray parkerized. Bore is very good and bright with strong rifling. Stock has nice even finish and shows some normal handling marks. A unique M1 Garand tanker carbine that will make a great shooter and a fine addition to a collection.
