Good condition antique Mexican Model 1895 Mauser Carbine in 7mm Mauser (7 x 57) caliber that has a 1897 dated Mexican eagle crest on the receiver ring and DWM Berlin manufacturer markings on the receiver side rail. Gun is NOT import marked and has matching serial numbers on the receiver, rear sight leaf, triggerguard, and floorplate. Bolt does not match but is correct. Rear sight slider does not match. Metal has mostly plum brown patina. Bore is dark and pitted with average rifling. Barrel has been slightly shortened at the muzzle. Stock has been refinished and shows some normal handling marks. A hard to find Mexican M1895 Mauser Carbine that will make a great addition to a collection.
