Fair condition original antique Smith & Wesson Model No. 3 First Model Single Action Revolver in .44 S&W American caliber. Mechanically needs work as the cylinder does not lock up. Some screws are replacements. Metal finish is original nickel plated showing some wear and flaking. There is some scattered pitting, mostly on the cylinder. 5 ¾” barrel has a gray bore with good rifling and some pitting. Wood grips are replacements. A classic Smith & Wesson No. 3 that will make a nice addition to a collection.
