ANTIQUE PAIR OF CASED ENGLISH FLINTLOCK POCKET PISTOLS-JOHN CROW FAVERSHAM

Very good condition original antique pair of cased English .54 caliber flintlock pocket pistols. Both are marked “JOHN CROWN” and “FAVERSHAM” and mechanically function fine, featuring folding triggers. Metal finish is original “in the white” with some gray and brown patina. 3 3/8” octagonal barrels have very good bright bores with strong rifling. Wood grips have original finish and checkering and a good tight fit with some normal handling marks. Pistols come with original green felt lined wooden case that has a seal in the lid for the Vatican City / Papal States under Pope Pius IX (1846-1878). Case is in very good condition. Wood has original finish and shows some normal handling marks. An interesting pair of flintlock pistols that will make an excellent addition to a collection!
