WWI US MODEL 1917 HELMET W/ORIGINAL CAMO PAINT & 42ND INFANTRY DIVISION INSIGNIA
Good condition original WWI US Model 1917 helmet. Shell has original period camo paint showing some wear and a few dents. Front has original painted 42nd Infantry “Rainbow” Division insignia. Left side has painted “69”. Right side has painted “FRANCE” and “NY”. Back has painted “SNY”. Complete with original liner and chinstrap that show some wear and cracking. An interesting WWI Doughboy helmet for your collection.
