Very good condition, correct and original WWII US military Winchester Model 97 “riot gun” 12 gauge pump action shotgun. Serial number 923xxx, which is in the correct range. Barrel has “42” date. Left side of receiver has “U.S.” and “flaming bomb” markings. Top of barrel has a flaming bomb marking. Left side buttstock has “W.B.” and ordnance wheel cartouches. Metal finish is original blue showing some normal wear. 20” barrel has a small ding, otherwise bore is bright and excellent. Stock has original finish and shows some normal handling marks. Toe has a repaired chip. A nice WWII US military Winchester Mode 97 riot gun that will make a fine addition to a collection.
