Very good condition reproduction Revolutionary War British Short Land Pattern Brown Bess flintlock musket in .75 caliber. Mechanically functions fine. Lock has authentic style markings including the King George cypher and “GRICE 1762”. Metal finish is original bright with some gray and brown patina. 42” barrel has a very good smooth bore. Stock has original finish and shows some normal handling marks. Right side of forend has a small chip by the pin. Top of wrist has a brass inlay that is engraved “PTO”. Complete with ramrod and buff leather sling. A nice quality reproduction British Brown Bess flintlock musket that will make a fine addition to a collection, a fun shooter, and work well for a reenactor.
