Good condition antique Russian Model 1847 Dragoon Musket in .72 percussion caliber that has Tula Arsenal markings on the lock and barrel and dated 1849. Mechanically functions fine. Metal finish is original bright with some gray and brown patina and some scattered pitting. Has a dark smooth bore with some pitting. Stock was refinished and shows some handling marks. Right side buttstock has a crack and a faint roundel cartouche. Right side of stock has a crack behind the lock. Brass fittings have nice Tula Arsenal markings and 1849 dates. Buttplate tang has a nice Russian eagle marking. Complete with correct original ramrod. A hard to find Russian M1847 Dragoon Musket that will make a fine addition to a collection!
