Excellent condition original pre WWII Russian AVS-36 Siminov Rifle bayonet. Has a serial number on the right ricasso and a tiny proof mark on the left ricasso. 13” blade has correct original metal finish of blued ricasso and remaining bright. Hilt has nice original blue finish showing very little wear. Checkered wood grips have original finish and a good tight fit with a few normal handling marks. Lock system works fine. Fitted in correct original steel scabbard that is in very good condition. Scabbard has original black paint showing some normal wear and a few dents. Complete with original leather belt loop. A very rare Russian AVS-36 bayonet that will make an excellent advanced addition to a collection!
