Good condition original Civil War US Model 1832 artillery short sword. 19 ¼” blade is unmarked and has original bright finish with some graying and a few pits. Brass grip has attractive patina and nice eagle designs on both sides of the pommel. Fitted in correct original leather scabbard that has brass throat and tip. Leather shows some wear and cracking. Tip has a few dents. Staples and frog stud are missing. A classic Civil War artillery short sword that will make a great addition to a collection!
