Good condition original WWII German 98k Mauser bayonet that is complete with matching numbered scabbard. Bayonet and scabbard are both marked “42ddl” for manufacture by Josua Corts in 1942. Blade has original blue finish showing some wear and has been sharpened. Hilt has original blue finish turning brown with a little pitting. Bakelite grips have a good tight fit and show some normal handling marks. Lock button functions fine. Matching numbered steel scabbard has mostly brown patina and several dents. A good representative example for your collection.
