Very good condition original Civil War French Model 1822 socket bayonet that has several markings on the blade flat. 15 ½” blade has original bright finish with some scattered gray and brown patina. Socket and shank have mostly brown patina. Complete with working lock ring. No scabbard. Nice socket bayonet for your collection.
