Very good condition WWII US military M1 Garand semi auto rifle in .30-06 caliber. Receiver is marked “SPRINGFIELD ARMORY” and is serial number 2239xxx, which dates it to manufacture in November 1943. Barrel is unmarked except for “.30-06”. Rifle is NOT import marked and has Springfield bolt, op rod, and trigger housing. Metal finish is original gray parkerized showing some normal wear. Receiver has a little pitting. Bore is very good and bright with strong rifling and a little pitting. Stock has been sanded and refinished, and has no visible markings. A good example of a classic M1 Garand.
