Good condition antique British Mark II Martini Henry Rifle in .577-450 caliber that was manufactured by L.S.A.Co. (London Small Arms Company) in 1889, as marked on the right side of the receiver. Mechanically functions fine. Right side of receiver is marked “Broad Arrow / SA”, indicating South African use. Rifle is an Afghanistan vet bringback and comes with original affidavit paper allowing him to bring it home. Metal is worn to the white with some gray and brown patina. Bore is dark with good rifling. Stock has original finish and shows some wear and handling marks. Top of wrist has some chips. Both sides of wrist have a hairline. Complete with cleaning rod. A nice classic Martini Henry rifle that will make a great addition to a collection!
