Very good condition original antique American .54 caliber percussion heavy barrel full stock target rifle. Mechanically functions fine. Lock is marked “WARRANTED”. Metal finish is original brown showing some normal wear. Rifle is fitted with an aperture peep rear sight on the tang, and blade rear and globe front sights on the tang. 34” heavy octagonal barrel measures 1 5/16” across at the muzzle. Bore is bright and excellent with strong rifling. Stock has original finish and shows some normal handling marks. Beautiful tiger stripe grain pattern. Left side of stock has a small chip by the breech. Forend tip has a piece of wood missing behind the nosecap. Complete with a wooden ramrod. A nice heavy barrel target rifle for your collection.
