Good condition antique Winchester Model 1873 lever action saddle ring carbine in .44-40 caliber that is serial number 123xxx, which dates it to manufacture in 1883. Mechanically functions fine. Metal finish is original blue mostly worn to brown and gray patina. 20” round barrel has original sights. Bore is gray with average rifling and some pitting. Stock has original finish and shows some normal handling marks. A good honest antique Winchester 1873 carbine that will make a fine addition to a collection.
