Good condition antique Winchester Model 1886 lever action rifle in .45-90 WCF caliber that is serial number 98xxx, which dates it manufacture in 1895. Mechanically excellent. Bore has been re-sleeved, and bolt is a new-made replacement. This gun is a great shooter! Metal finish is original blue mostly worn to the white, with some gray and brown patina. 26” octagonal barrel has original sights. Bore is bright and excellent with strong rifling. Stock has original finish and shows some wear and handling marks. A nice antique Winchester Model 1886 rifle that will make a fine addition to a collection and a fun shooter!
