Fine condition original antique Spencer Model 1865 repeating cavalry carbine in .56-50 rimfire caliber. Mechanically functions fine. Lock, hammer, and buttplate have faded original case colors. Remaining metal finish is nice original blue showing light wear. 20” barrel has original sights. Bore is good, bright with strong rifling and a little pitting in the grooves. Stock has original finish and shows some normal handling marks. No cartouches. Made without a Stabler cutoff. A nice Spencer Model 1865 Carbine that will make a fine addition to a collection.
