Very good condition antique Austrian Model 1890 Mannlicher Steyr Carbine in 8 x 50r caliber that has the Steyr “OEWG” marking on the receiver. Gun s NOT import marked and has all matching serial numbers including receiver, barrel, and stock. Metal finish is nice original blue showing a little normal wear. Buttplate and bolt are original “in the white” with some gray and brown patina. Bore is very good with strong rifling, a little gray with a little pitting. Stock has original finish and shows some normal handling marks. Left side buttstock has a sharp clear matching serial number. The rear sight ears are slightly bent, so the leaf does not lift very far. A hard to find Austrian M.90 Mannlicher Steyr Carbine that will make a fine addition to a collection.
