
Fine condition antique Smith & Wesson Model No. 1 ½ Second Issue Revolver in .32 Short Rimfire caliber. Mechanically functions fine and tight. Gun comes with original factory letter, which states that it was shipped on February 9, 1870 to M.W. Robinson of New York City. The star after the serial number indicates it was returned for refinishing. Metal finish is excellent reblue. 3 ½” barrel has a gray bore with strong rifling and some pitting. Wood grips have original finish and a good tight fit with some normal handling marks. A nice lettered Smith & Wesson revolver for your collection.
