Fine condition antique Imperial German 71/84 Mauser Rifle in 11mm Mauser caliber that has Spandau Arsenal markings on the barrel and is dated 1887 on the receiver. The rifle is NOT import marked and has all matching serial numbers. Mechanically functions fine, including working magazine cutoff. Rifle is unit marked “K.A.R.R.112” for the Recruiting Depot of the Kaiser Alexander Garde Grenadier Regiment, Weapon 112. Receiver, bolt, and buttplate are original “in the white” with a little graying. The remaining metal finish is nice, original blue, showing a little normal wear. Bore is bright and excellent with strong rifling. Its original finish and shows some normal handling marks. Right side buttstock and underside of buttstock have sharp. The stock has clear Imperial German proof mark cartouches. Complete with a correct type reproduction leather sling. A very nice German 71/84 Mauser Rifle with matching numbers and a desirable unit marking!
