
B. COOPER NEW YORK LOCKS-SPANISH JUAN SANTOS BRLS
Very good condition original antique 20 gauge percussion muzzleloading double-barreled shotgun that was originally made as a flintlock and later converted to percussion. Locks are marked “B. Cooper N. York”. Spanish-made barrels are marked “JUAN SANTOS” and have gold-inlaid markings. Both locks function fine. Metal finish is nice, original brown. 34” barrels have dark, pitted, smooth bores. The stock has its original finish and shows some normal handling marks. Both sides of the forend have a few chips on the edge. The wrist has nice original checkering. The stock has silver mountings, including an inlaid shield on top of the wrist with an engraved monogram. Complete with a brass-tipped wooden ramrod. A nice, rare antique American double-barreled shotgun that will make a fine addition to a collection!
