Excellent condition original antique Smith & Wesson Model No. 1 Second Issue Revolver in .22 rimfire caliber. Mechanically functions fine and tight. Frame has nice original silver finish. The remaining metal finish is original blue showing some wear and some light pitting. 3 3/16” barrel has a good bright bore with strong rifling and a little pitting. Wood grips have original finish and a good tight fit with some normal handling marks. Gun has all matching numbers and comes with the rare original Gutta Percha case that is in good condition with nice detail and a few cracks and chips. Also includes 53 rounds of original .22 rimfire ammo. A hard to find early cased Smith & Wesson .22 revolver that will make a fine addition to a collection.
