ANTIQUE MEXICAN MILITARY NEW MODEL 1867 SPENCER REPEATING CARBINE

Very good condition original antique Mexican military Model 1867 “New Model” Spencer Repeating Carbine in .50 rimfire caliber. Mechanically functions fine and features the distinctive magazine cutoff on top of the breech block. Metal finish is original “in the white” with some gray and brown patina. 20” barrel has original sights and bayonet lug. Bore is good, somewhat dark, with good rifling and some pitting. Stock has original finish and shows some normal handling marks and wear. Left side of forend tip has a crack. A rare Spencer variation that will make a fine addition to a collection. Only about 7,000 were produced and this one is in the correct range.
