RARE-ONLY 4,300 PRODUCED-MATCHING
Very good condition pre WWII Finnish Mode 1891 Mosin Nagant Rifle in 7.62 x 54r caliber that has the Tikka Arsenal marking on the barrel and dated 1927. Barrel is stepped at the muzzle so that it can accept standard Russian M1891 bayonets. Tikka only produced about 4,300 stepped barrels. Rifle is import marked on the barrel and has all matching serial numbers including barrel and bolt. No other serialized parts. Metal finish is original blue showing some normal wear. Bore is good, mostly bright, with strong rifling and some pitting. Stock has original finish and shows some normal handling marks. Right side of wrist has a crack. Both sides of heel have a crack. Right side buttstock has an arms depot cartouche. Complete with correct original cleaning rod and Finnish sling swivels. A hard to find Finnish Mosin Nagant variant that will make a fine addition to a collection.
