
Good condition original WWII US Army M3 fighting knife that is maker marked “CASE” on the right side of the blade and dated 1943 along with the model designation. Pommel has a flaming bomb proof mark. Blade has been polished bright and has been sharpened. Guard is slightly bent back. Stacked leather washer grip shows some wear. Fitted in correct M6 leather sheath that is marked “U.S. M6/L&C/1943/FJA”. Leather is soft and supple with some normal wear and crazing, stitching and rivets are tight. Complete with handle straps that have working snap. A good original early M3 knife for your collection.
