Good condition WWII Russian Model 1944 Mosin Nagant Carbine in 7.62 x 54r caliber that has the Tula Arsenal “star” marking on the barrel and dated 1944. Gun is NOT import marked, NOT Russian arsenal refinished, and NOT Finn marked, but is likely a Finn captured carbine, sold to Interarms in the 1960’s. Gun has all matching serial numbers including barrel, bolt, floorplate, and buttplate. Metal finish is original blue showing some wear. Bore is good, bright with strong rifling and some light pitting. Stock has original finish and shows some handling marks. Right side buttstock has a faint Tula “star” cartouche. Complete with correct original cleaning rod and leather sling. Folding bayonet functions fine. A rare original condition WWII M44 Carbine with matching numbers that will make an excellent addition to a collection!
