Good condition WWII German 98k Mauser Rifle in 8mm Mauser (7.92 x 57) caliber that is marked “ar 43” on the receiver for manufacture by ERMA in 1943. Rifle is NOT import marked and has all matching serial numbers. The bolt parts have been renumbered. Metal finish is original blue showing some wear to brown and gray patinas. Bore is dark with worn rifling and some pitting. Stock has original finish and shows some wear and handling marks. Both sides of buttstock have a silver out of the laminate. Right side of stock has a small crack by the receiver ring. Right side of wrist has a small crack by the rear of the triggerguard. Left side of stock has a long crack alongside the receiver, originating at the rear of the receiver. Right side buttstock has an “eagle H” cartouche. Complete with cleaning rod and front sight hood.
