Very good condition WWII Japanese Type 99 Arisaka Rifle in 7.7 x 58mm caliber that was manufactured by Nagoya Arsenal without a series marking. Mum is partially ground, but is largely intact. Rifle is NOT import marked and has matching serial numbers on the receiver, bolt body, safety, extractor, and firing pin. Front band does not match. Metal finish is original blue showing some normal wear. Bore is bright and excellent with strong rifling. Stock has original finish and shows some normal handling marks. Underside of buttstock has two small kanji character inspector proof marks. Complete with correct original cleaning rod. A good example of an early Nagoya no series T-99.
