Very good condition antique German .50 caliber percussion muzzleloading Jager Rifle that is marked “G.G. Ewertz A. Stettin” on the lock. Mechanically functions fine and features double set triggers. Metal has mostly brown and gray patina. 28 5/8” octagonal barrel has original sights. Bore is good with strong rifling and some pitting. Stock has nice even finish. Wrist has nice original checkering. Features a horn forend cap. Complete with correct original horn-tipped wooden ramrod. A nice German Jager rifle that will make a fine addition to a collection.
