Good condition antique French Mle 1886 M93 Lebel Rifle in 8mm Lebel caliber that has St. Etienne Arsenal and model designation markings on the receiver. Barrel is marked “MA S” for St. Etienne and dated 1891. Rifle is NOT import marked and NOT Balle N marked, and has all matching serial numbers except the bolt, including barrel, floorplate, buttstock, and forestock. Mechanically functions fine including working magazine cutoff. Metal finish is original blue showing some wear. Bore is about good, a little dark, with good rifling. Stock has original finish and shows some wear and handling marks. Left side buttstock and underside of forestock have matching serial numbers. A nice antique French Lebel Rifle for your collection.
