Very good condition original WWII German “Z Pistole” combat flare pistol that is marked “ayf 41” on the left side of the frame for manufacture by ERMA in 1941, and is marked “Z” on the left side of the barrel. Features a rifled bore and could use standard flares, as well as rifled grenades and signal cartridges. Mechanically functions fine and tight. Metal finish is original black showing some normal wear. Bore is good with strong rifling and some gray. Checkered Bakelite grips have a good tight fit and no damage. Original lanyard ring is present. A rare WWII German Z Pistol that will make an excellent addition to a collection.
