Very good condition original WWII German Luftwaffe first model dagger that is maker marked “PAUL WEYERSBERG & CO. SOLINGEN” on the blade with a Luftamt proof mark. Blade has nice original bright finish and was never sharpened. Still has original leather washer at the base. Nickel silver guard and pommel have nice original finish and attractive patina. Leather covered grip has tight wire wrap and shows some normal wear. Complete with correct original knot that shows some wear and fraying. Fitted in correct original blue leather covered scabbard that has nickel silver fittings. Leather shows some normal wear, tip has several dents. Complete with chains. A nice Luftwaffe first model officer dagger that will make an excellent addition to a collection.
