Good condition original antique English “Ketland & Co.” flintlock belt/holster pistol in .56 caliber. Marked “KETLAND & CO.” on the lock and “LONDON” on the barrel. Barrel is also marked “V” and “P”. Mechanically needs work as the cock does not catch at full cock. Metal is “in the white” with some gray and brown patina. 8” barrel has a good smooth bore with some pitting. Stock has original finish and shows some normal handling marks. Left side of stock has a crack by the breech. Complete with correct original wooden ramrod. A nice, classic KEtland flintlock pistol.
