Very good condition WWII British No. 5 MK I Enfield Jungle Carbine in .303 British caliber that is marked “M/47C” on the left side of the receiver socket for manufacture by BSA (Birmingham Small Arms Company) Shirley, and dated 1945. Rifle is import marked on the barrel and has all matching serial numbers including receiver, bolt, magazine, forestock, and buttstock. Metal finish is nice arsenal reblue showing a little normal wear. Bore is fine and bright with strong rifling. Stock has added varnish finish and shows some handling marks. Underside of forestock has a stamped matching serial number. Left side buttstock has a white painted matching serial number. A nice WWII Enfield Jungle Carbine with matching numbers.
