
Good condition original Danish Model 1867 Remington Rolling Block bayonet that is maker marked “GEBR. WEYERSBERG SOLINGEN” on the left ricasso and has Danish crown proof marks on the blade spine, right ricasso, and left side of the pommel. 21 ¾” yataghan style blade has original bright finish. Edge has been sharpened and has a few nicks. Spine has some dings. Hilt has original bright finish with some graying. Checkered leather grips have a good tight fit and show some normal wear and handling marks. Lock button and leaf spring function fine. Fitted in correct original leather scabbard that has steel throat and tip. Leather shows some wear. Stitched seam has mostly split. Tip has some dents and dings and is missing its staple. Unit marked “35B 779” on the tip. Throat has tight staple. A good example of an uncommon bayonet.
