TOP CHARGING HANDLE-EXCELLENT CONDITION-PRE-BAN
Excellent condition pre-ban Gwinn Firearms Bushmaster semi auto rifle in 5.56mm NATO (.223 Rem) caliber. This gun was designed by Mack Gwinn, who was a Special Operations officer in the Vietnam War. Similar in appearance to the M16, with sights similar to the Stoner 63. This early example has an aluminum receiver and a top mounted charging handle. Features a long-stroke gas piston system with a modified AR-15 bolt design. Uses standard AR-15 magazines and comes with one 30-round black plastic magazine. Mechanically functions fine. Nice original blued and parkerized finishes with a black receiver. Finish shows just a little normal wear. 18 ½” barrel has a birdcage flash hider and a bright excellent bore with strong rifling. Wood forend and buttstock have nice original black finish. M16A1 style black plastic grip has no damage. A hard to find early Bushmaster rifle that will make a fun shooter and an excellent addition to a collection!
