Good condition original WWII German SA (Storm Troopers) dagger. This early, pre-RZM example is maker marked “F. DICK SOLINGEN” on the blade and is marked “Sw” on the lower guard for issue to the Sudwest Gruppe. Blade has original bright finish with some graying. Edge has a few dings. Nice etched “Alles fur Deutschland” motto. Nickel silver guards have nice original bright finish. Wood grip has original finish and shows some handling marks and a couple of hairlines. Nice eagle inlay. The SA runic insert has enamel loss. Fitted in correct original steel scabbard that has been repainted and has several dents. A good representative example of an early SA dagger.
