Very good condition original WWII US military issue Remington Model 11 Riot Gun 12 gauge semi auto shotgun. Mechanically functions fine. Serial number 481xxx, which is in the correct range. Left side of receiver is marked “U.S.” with a flaming bomb and “MILITARY FINISH”. Metal finish is nice original blue showing a little normal wear. Barrel has some small dings a few inches from the muzzle. 20” barrel has a bright excellent bore. Stock has original finish and shows some handling marks. Forend is checkered. Toe has a chip and buttplate has a chip at the toe. Left side of buttstock has “FJA” and “ordnance wheel” cartouches. A nice WWII US military issue Remington Model 11 that will make a fine addition to a collection.
